Ophir Fromovich

Prof. Ophir Fromovich is a leading international expert in dental implantology and the
inventor of several major implant systems, including Straumann BLX and TLX,
NobelActive, and Alpha-Bio. A graduate of the Institute of Medicine and Pharmacy in
Bucharest (1988) with postgraduate training in Orthodontics, he has held academic
positions at G. D’Annunzio University of Chieti (Italy) and currently lectures at Titu
Maiorescu University in Bucharest. His research focuses on implant and abutment
design, tissue regeneration, GBR, and biomechanics. He has lectured worldwide,
authored numerous publications, and received multiple awards for excellence in
education and clinical innovation.
