Prof. Mahesh Verma is Vice Chancellor of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University
and former Dean of Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences, New Delhi. He has
served as Chairman of the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare
Providers (NABH). Recipient of India’s highest medical honor—the Dr. B.C. Roy Award
(2007), Padma Shri (2014), and Science & Technology Award (2020). Internationally
recognized with the Elmer S. Best Memorial Award (Pierre Fauchard Academy,
USA) and Global Oral Health Progress Award, he is a Fellow of multiple Royal
Colleges and Honorary Member of the ADA and BDA.
