State University-UNESP, Brazil and the head of the Biophotonics and Bionanomaterials
Laboratory. Visiting Scientist at different Universities (University of Erlangen, Erlangen,
Germany; Academic Centre for Dentistry Amsterdam, Amsterdam, Netherlands;
University of Birmingham, Dental School, Birmingham, UK and Wellman Center for
Photomedicine, MGH, HMS, University of Harvard, Boston, MA, USA) works on
projects based on the application of light sources in the oral health. Author of over 100
papers based on the Biophotonics field.
