Horia Octavian Manolea
Dr. Horia Octavian Manolea is Professor and Head of the 1st Department of Prostheses Technology and Dental Materials at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Craiova, Romania. Valedictorian of the 2001 graduating class, he holds a PhD in Medicine and a Master’s degree in Implant-Supported Prosthetics. His research focuses on bioactive and restorative materials, bone augmentation, and ceramic and metal-ceramic technologies. He has authored 10 textbooks, nearly 100 scientific papers—50 in ISI-indexed journals—and over 200 conference abstracts. Prof. Manolea is an invited speaker at numerous international meetings and serves as reviewer for several specialized journals.
